Leigh and Christiann’s L’Auberge Sedona elopement took place in October on a stunningly beautiful Autumn day. The leaves had started to turn a bit which normally doesn’t start until late October. They invited their closest family and friends to their Sedona elopement.
We loved capturing all the sweet moments of the day and their daughter and their family puppies that attended made it all the more fun for family and friends and us as photographers. There’s nothing more adorable than puppies and cute kids at weddings. L’Auberge is a pet friendly wedding venue and not only did Leigh and Christiaan bring their two dogs but Leigh’s dad also brought their family dog as well.
Leigh and Chris are just an amazing couple. Their love for family and friends was evident with who was invited to their wedding. They wanted to keep it intimate and sweet and with the people they loved the most in their lives. Our favorite memory of the day is Chris recounting the story of how he met Leigh. He said that she walked into his restaurant and he saw her and then he saw Leigh’s daughter and in a moment his future life flashed before his eyes. Chance brought them together and they constantly show gratitude and love for each other.
It was only fitting that they and their Sedona wedding as a L’Auberge Sedona elopement because it was where Chris proposed to Leigh. It truly was the most beautiful day for the sweetest of couples.

Lillian Fogel did a great job on hair and makeup … of course she had a beautiful bride to start with but the makeup she did was really stunning and very natural. Leigh looked especially beautiful definitely glowed.
Leigh and her daughter getting a surprise present from Chris … it came in a blue Tiffany’s box so you know the girls were happy.

Ceremony start time!

Some sweet moments during the portraits … we work really hard to not just get the photo of everyone looking at the camera but also photos during the portraits that show the relationships and love everyone has for each other.

One of our favorite images of the day taken after we arrived near sunset on the red rocks … Leigh and Chris were away from the business of the wedding day and finally alone with just the two of them (well and us lol) … they had a great time enjoying the last moments of light as the sun set… it made for some beautifully romantic pictures to remember their Sedona elopement by.
And back to L’Auberge for an intimate dinner on the flagstone patio at the Creek House … super romantic!
